I realize it's all a silly joke for the sake of a comedy & not supposed to make any sense, but maybe, the Brady home is some sort of physical time anomaly where time just doesn't exist & the same few days loop over & over?
The only real head-scratcher is how would you explain they can just stay in the same year in school?

Well, yeah. That's the subtle (or not quite so subtle) 'inside joke' of the whole show as far as their mannerisms and virtual naivety goes. The way they talk, dress, and act, and yet they still come out on top, even with modern crisis thrown at them, basically due to pure righteousness. There's almost a Gump like quality to them.
Man, I wonder what his tax returns look like, with 8 dependents to claim, plus home and business deductions. I bet his refunds are 'groovy'.
