How is this PG-13?

There isn't anything that I can see that makes it worthy of a PG-13.
Won't be on on the 24th of August in 2006..for a LONG time..!

Hallucinogenic drugs appear
A subplot resolves on whether Greg and Marcia will have sex
The line "Marcia's getting leighed by those Hawaiin boys."
Trevor pulling a gun out at some point and using it in a threatening manner.

Those things spring to mind.

theres alot of innuendo in this movie

carol- "i know where they can find my fingerprints mr. brady" (as mike holds the carrot)

among various other sexual references

alice- "he promised to slip me a special tube steak"
"side saddle or bare back?"

bobby "im a private dick"

just to name a few that come to mind.

and of course "something suddenly came up" as greg is going into the water

I actually think it could have gotten away with a PG rating though.

Yes, it's true! IMDB has reached Sweden!

Nope. Definitely a PG=13. Way too many sex and drug references. Pearl necklace?? Even the possibility of fake incest is taboo. Alot of parents who grew up on the show, thought this would be a wholesome family movie and took their preteen kids who were also acquainted to the original series through Nick at Nite reruns.

Those are just innuendos though, ...movies like Shrek get away with explicitly saying: Jackass, crap, Sex ect. and those are 'Kids' movies...

We've come to the conclusion that The Bird is greater than or equal to The Word.

It's also PG-13 because of the drug content. I don't think drug use is allowed in PG rated films at all! There are no drugs in the Shrek movies. Also, Crap and Jackass are perfectly okay for PG rated film.

Definitely worthy of a PG-13. One really shocking thing about it is, I saw it on the Starz family channel last night!
