Another movie bested by a modern sequel/reboot/remake.

Like clockwork.

I'm sure the nostalgia heads will fight tooth and nail to prevent their cheesy 90s flick from being ousted as the go to Twister movie. Future generations will forget about this rendition, when they hear 'twister' they'll think of the 2024 release.

Not true at all. Twisters did a good job with the special effects. They were really the star of the show. It was pretty much humorless and the Tyler Owens tornado chasing crew had no personality or comradery to them. Twister benefited by having really great character actors in all the supporting roles while Twisters does not.
