Is this movie triggering for people in tornadoes-friendly areas?
It must be hard to watch for them, right? The opening scene is frightening.

shareNot for me and I live near where the film takes pace.
I’d imagine it would only affect anyone who actually experienced the wrath of a tornado or lost someone who did.
I could be wrong.
I have lived in Oklahoma for a few years now and haven't come close to a single tornado. But people here love these movies. Not triggering at all, I'd say. It helps that they were filmed in Oklahoma, which not many blockbusters are. So people are coming out to see their state on the big screen, and it's definitely pretty cool. But no, tornado lifestyle is huge out here and people treat them more like Glen Powell than anything else. They straight up have a Twister Movie Muesuem in the small farm town the film is set in, and it's a major tourist attraction.
