Finally! Hopefully, we will get a good remaster here. Some remasters, like from Universal, go WAY too far with trying to smooth out any impression that their movies were shot on film. "American Graffiti" fell victim to that, unfortunately. Warner Bros. has been known for some EXCELLENT remasters, like "The Shining." Glad that it is coming out from them!

Im thrilled that this 4k release is finally happening as Twister is up there among my favorites of all time. Its definitely one of my greatest summer movie going experiences ever. I love the look of the remaster as the colors really match that of the severe weather. The blu-ray is horribly dated now and I already have the 4k preordered. I went with the standard edition 4k as I haven't always had the best of luck with steelbooks. 4k remaster, a new atmos track, and a new featurette to go along with the legacy extras.

I was surprised I had no remux of this on my HDD as its one my best films being over 34gb should look great on a big screen even better in a bigger 4k hdr file.

This 4k remaster is brand new and it hasn't had anything better than a standard HD transfer. I've seen Twister twice in theaters and the digital presentation looked exactly the same as the bluray.

What do you feel looks "horribly dated" about the Blu-Ray? I have the Blu-Ray. Just seems to be a presentation of the movie in HD to me.

The colors look very washed out and in some of the scenes are dialed in lighter and should be darker.

saw it last night. it looks amazing and even sounds better.
