Twister came out on May 10, 1996. It's still one of my favorite Summer movies ever. There's actually a 25th anniversary festival in Wakita, OK on May 15th. This would be so much fun to attend.

I still remember going to see Twister in the theater. Now I have the Blu-Ray and still revisit the film periodically. It's a ton of fun.
I only watched this movie for the first time a month ago and it became an instant favorite of mine. I never thought a disaster movie about tornadoes would be interesting or believable but then I saw an episode of that storm chasers show and it got me curious. No wonder people still rave about this movie so many years later. It's a brilliant good time.
shareTwister is a hell of a lot of fun. It has an interesting story, a great cast, great dialogue, and effects that still hold up today. Plus, the film films unique in that it's the only good entry in the "tornado" genre.
I actually think it's the best disaster movie of all time.
I watch Twister ever year during severe weather season.
