What happened after final?

They start doing analysis and do you think they will be able to predict tornados?

Was it realistic to use Dorothy to send inside and to be able to analysis the tornado using sensors in that way?

The world, chico. And peace in it.

After?

I believe the team used the new data, which showed the schematic of the tornado from the inside, and tons of numbers being shown from the sensors being sent back via radio signal.

The idea was never to predict tornados, but just build an advanced warning system. They wanted to increase awareness time.

"We have a winter storm watch," says the local news.

"Wait, we have a bulletin. The National Weather Service has issued updated results and we are now in a winter storm warning."

The models the National Weather Service has suddenly has shown what could be happening to what is actually happening now.

No one can predict tornadoes (as Jonas says they are very unpredictable---and we suddenly saw the massive one at the end dissipate with no visible cause as if it just was done of its own accord. However, something obviously changed weather-wise causing it to no longer have strength---perhaps moisture or ambient light), both in the movie and real world. Tornado conditions are one thing, prediction is another. We always hear of "conditions could lead to", all we can do is make an assessment on numbers---an assumption based on models and their numbers. That was the idea, as Jo states in the beginning that no one has been inside a tornado to measure and show what's really happening. That was DOT 3 and D.O.R.T.H.Y's mission.

Now that they knew what was happening inside the tornado they can actually design a system to look for those sets of numbers. It is a whole new set of numbers. I almost think it is like an X-ray.

Now that we see what is on the inside, we know what is in there. Now our weather models can not only see storm conditions in the morning issued by NOAA and The National Weather Service....now the new (newly designed & advanced) sensors in warning systems realize the chances just SPIKED for formation---thus giving the advance warning----and pushing it to 15-20 minutes instead of short ones now. Looking for fire VS SMOKE DETECTOR.
