I don't know if this has been brought up before (probably has) but why did Jo switch one of her rings from one finger to the other? It looks like it's supposed to mean something but I can't figure it out. Forgive me if it seems obvious.
great theory. i've always thought she was 'trying to make him jealous/pretending to have someone, too' by placing her class ring or what ever ring that was on her wedding ring finger, so maybe he'd think she moved on, too.
Some people call it a Cul-de-sac. I call it a Dead End

She moved the ring to her wedding finger, I always thought as well that she was trying to make it look like she was engaged.
Seriously? You think anybody (besides the two of you) is so stupid - or an accomplished meteorologist would be scripted to be so stupid - as to think that a class ring is an engagement ring??
LOL!! Please. For the sake of the gene pool. Don't ever breed.

Not every country actually has class rings, so it definitely wouldn't be the first thing a lot of people would think of, that she's wearing a class ring. I certainly didn't. I think stupidity is more assuming everyone SHOULD come to the conclusion you do. If not for books I've read, I would never have heard of them and have no idea what class rings look like. Are you trying to contribute to the conversation by suggesting a class ring would look totally different to any kind of engagement ring, so it's unlikely that's what Jo was doing?
