Sequel or re-release by 2016!!!

Either or, it's got to happen! This is one of the biggest disaster films of all-time and still holds up today! Such a fun and beautifully shot film that had character and wasn't as bland, soulless and routine as most blockbusters today.

It's the extreme!

While I AGREE with you, I also read that the sequel got canned years ago with no chance of moving forward. It was to feature the original cast, who are now basically too old to reprise their original roles. Plus, with Dusty dead (who would otherwise have been too big for this role now anyway), I also personally feel he should be neither replaced nor omitted.

As for a commemorative release, I would guess that if it didn't happen at 10 years, it's not likely to happen at 20.

But this will forever be a favorite of mine. I'm from Oklahoma and I am proud of this film (despite a few rather obvious Hollywood flaws).

And I love that an Okie depicted film was the very first feature film ever released on DVD.

I run a facebook fan page petitioning a sequel, and can tell you that both Hunt and Paxton have expressed an interest in doing a second one. They stated this in the last two years or so. Also they are not too old, Paxton is the oldest and he was just seen running about in Edge of Tomorrow and Agents of Shield. Glad your a fellow fan!

Stick your petition up your retarded @$$. We need LESS sequels, remakes, and reboots, NOT MORE.

I'm sure Hunt or Paxton would reprise any former role they played at this point in their careers.

Yep Paxton played a good role in Nightcrawler. Not too old at all. Yes a sequel would be fun. Any other Tornado films you can recommend? (Not the Sharknado's)

Into the Storm is a lot of fun. The acting's not spectacular but the plot is better than decent and the pace is fast. The special effects are pretty good. It won't win any awards, but it's fun for a viewing or two.

While watching Into the Storm, I couldn't help but notice the similarities between that movie and Twister. If anything, one can argue that Into The Storm is a homage to Twister if not a subtle attempt to remake/modernize it...

However, after finishing Into the Storm - the first thing I said to my kids was, if you liked this movie, you have to watch Twister - its way better..
