Who played the Hollywood Showcase announcer?
He is a long time character actor, but I can not place him, and can't find him in the cast list here.

One of my favorite sitcoms that doesn't get much airtime nowadays was the Bob Newhart show that took place in New England. Scolari was great in what was one of those great ensemble casts.
I had heard Tom Hanks cast him as a favor.
