the answer machine recording seemed way too short.
shareI was actually really surprised by that, I thought she might find it cute, and he was going out of his mind, so I thought the scene would end happily, but then she just shut him down lol.

Some women love the stuttery type and would find it cute. Some would find it desparate and a little scary. Its because we feel we know mike is a nice guy that we feel for him. But thats the club scene for you. You are judged in a few moments and inside those few moments you could lose your soul mate. Later on in a relationship you can get away with all kinds. Its actually worse for less attractive people, because they are judged much harder by what they say.
Thx BenjaminTheBlue
I think the call that did him in was when he acted like they'd already been dating lol. He says something like, 'I think we need to take a break from each other, I just got out of a relationship... it's not you, it's me' hahaha. The first couple of calls, he might have been ok.
shareIt depends on the girl, but I think most would find it pretty creepy.
sharethe answer machine recording seemed way too short.
I cringed when he did this, reminded me of me from a long time ago. When to call is a mystery, that's for sure, but 99% of the time you don't call later on that night, especially at 2AM or whenever he called. Then when he left one message after another, ugh. Either way, he got a young Heather Graham in the end!
sharemaybe my favorite scene in the movie. so hilariously pathetic.
and he KEEPS calling back like its a good idea. classic.
He was lucky she didn't call back and say "STOP CALLING ME YOU *beep* ÁSSHOLE GO EAT *beep* AND NEVER CALL ME AGAIN OR I'LL REPORT YOU TO THE COPS!".
