As if a mook like Favreau could ever get Graham

Or Famke Jansen in Love & Sex. Who the F@ck does he think he is, casting himself with these smokin' hotties?

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

I thought the same thing.
SO *beep* unrealistic! I'm tired of these movies pushing *beep* about how a guy could really win at this "game".
This could never happen in real life. A girl with the looks of Lorraine would have such a pick of the macho guys (very experienced with women players), that a guy like Mike would never have a chance.
Maybe one day when she's getting older she'd look more at men like him, who are trustworthy and so on, to become married and have a family and be sustained. But not when she's in her prime, not when she looks the way Heather Graham looked here. She's gonna have fun with the players while she's young.

At least he's younger and somewhat in shape in this film.

Look at him romancing Sofia Vergara and Scarlett Johansson in Chef.

Well he wrote the film.

It's that man again!!

By that point in the film Mike knew what not to do though. Initially Lorraine had her guard up, but Mike was mysterious, didn't say much, and didn't cower away when she insulted his quiche joke. Once he impressed her on the dance floor, it's easy to see why she'd be enamored by him.

If you're talking about his looks, you have a lot to learn about women.

The great thing about his movie is that it exposes the true nature of L.A. nightlife culture as being heavily saturated by transplanted wannabes trying to make it in the entertainment business, yet the reality is most people not from California think that this is what L.A. is all about and it's not. At least Favreau's story captures that little bit of reality. Outside the bubble of the Hollywood and West L.A. there's a shitload of culture that is hardly portrayed in movies or TV shows.
