"You're all astronauts on some sort of STAR TREK!"
As goofy as it is, I love this line from Zefram Cochrane. But I was just wondering, is this the only time we hear the words "Star Trek" used in any canon installment (movies or episodes)?

shareYes, and be thankful. In an effort to scam money from Alexander Courage, Roddenberry penned lyrics to the original theme song. I cringe to think of them actually using that for the show.
Beyond
The rim of the star-light
My love
Is wand'ring in star-flight
I know
He'll find in star-clustered reaches
Love,
Strange love a star woman teaches.
I know
His journey ends never
His star trek
Will go on forever.
But tell him
While he wanders his starry sea
Remember, remember me.
By the way, that line from Cochrane makes me cringe every time.

As corny as Cochrane's line was, I always thought it was funny that the writers decided to put the phrase "star trek" in some of the dialogue.

We have clearance, Clarence.
Roger, Roger. What's our vector, Victor?
I can sort of picture them discussing this line and think they were being really clever. ξ²

The closest I can think of is in All Good Things when Q says "It's time to put an end to your trek through the stars!"
shareEnterprise attributes the whole "boldly go where no one has gone before" to Cochran, it's interesting that he gets both.
In "All Good Things..." Q uses the phrase "trek amongst the stars", that's as close as anyone else gets to the title.

"You're astronauts on some kind of star trek -- and you're fighting these cybernetic zombies in some kind of ... star wars!!"
