It's hard to believe it's been 20 years. I was 9 years old. Saw it in the theatre. My family HATED every minute of it but I loved it!!!

I went to see it on Thanksgiving weekend in 1996 with my Uncle and Grandma. My grandma wasn't a fan, though I loved it at the time and have fond memories of going to see it. Aside from catching a few scenes on TV through the years, I somehow didn't see it in its entirety again until this past weekend when I went to see it in theaters for its limited 20th anniversary showing. Watching it as an adult, it really doesn't hold up, but I have good memories of going to see it in theaters originally.

I don't think my parents ever bought it for me when it came out on VHS. But I used to rent it all the time from Blockbuster and then they put a "ban" on me from renting it. Drove them crazy with this silly movie!!! Hey, if my brother could grow up watching Top Gun a thousand times why couldn't I do the same with Space Jam?!  I also used to have the soundtrack.

You're right, watching it as an adult you realize just how bad it is. I actually feel sorry for my parents making them sit through it....sort of. 😉

Remember MJ used to do 1-800-Collect commercials around that time too?

I remember I wanted to watch it in theaters when it first came out, I was 5 and I was a little sad that my mom never took me. I finally saw it in theaters today.

Safe to assume I'm the only actual adult here who saw this film post-testicle drop when it first came out...

feels like yesterday. my 20's went by so fast in the 90's. I took my 8 year old cousin to see it. great times.
