The Sound Design
Is damn near unbearable. I have to crank the volume to hear dialogue which makes the soundtrack(at times) and sound FX extremely loud.
A passing train, a gun shot, etc are as loud if not louder than reality.
I'm going to blame George Lucas because Richard Beggs who was credited with sound design used "Skywalker Sound" in this film, and none of his other films have such awful sound. Also, George Lucas seems like a bit of a prick so he is an easy target.
Then again, perhaps it is just my copy that is screwed up.
