Transformers: Age of Extinction is on DVD....

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

IS THIS like the go to imdb attack when they can't stand their faves be criticized? I've never seen a transformers movie in my life.

reply

Nope, but if you didn't like Sleepers, I wanted to give you a suggestion that might be right in your wheelhouse.

Of course the go-to "terrible movie" subject line always subjects one to snark and ridicule from the fans of said movie...which is the desired response for many of you, i.e. trolling.

If no Transformers, how about any of the high-art movies of Jamie Kennedy?

reply

lol, pathetic. This movie is not above garbage like Transformers, so the joke's on you.

reply

You know this, and yet have never seen Transformers?

Interesting...clearly you have strong feelings about this movie. Did you have a bad experience in reform school?

A movie packed with great actors and great performances, by the Oscar-winning director of Rain Man, The Natural, and Diner...if it's not your cup of tea then so be it, but it's light-years from 'terrible'.

Except it is not.

reply

Well based on your 10,000 April posts clearly your tastes lean more towards OJ Simpson and Bruce Jenner faux-reality shows, so I think we'll just have to agree to disagree on Sleepers....good day.

Surrender accepted....shoo fly, I think the Kardashians are on.

I would recommend "barney and the backyard gang".
Assuming you don't have a job and need to save money, you can watch it free on YouTube.

Seen it already, but thanks for the recommendation.

If by "terrible" you mean "one of the great movies of all time", I agree.

So many a$$holes, so few bullets.

It's a discussion forum. Sorry to be blunt, but no one really cares whether a random individual stranger liked the movie or didn't like the movie. The reason WHY is the important part; that's what creates the starting point for the discussion.

So here's your opportunity: what was it that made you think the movie was so terrible you didn't want to finish watching it?

Fúck off.

Pithy!

And yet, ultimately falls short of the reasoned response I--respectfully--invited.

Mmmmmm. Surely an intellectual. That's the reason for the quality critique of the "terrible movie": "Couldn't even finish it."

'Couldn't ascertain why from that pensive explanation??? 

Terrible movie.

So? Not really sure what you are trying to accomplish here.

You're either...

1. Trying to save people from watching a bad movie (which you are failing miserably at trying to do)

or...

2. If that's not your intent, then you still somehow think the world needs to know about the things you dislike even if you aren't trying to save them from watching a bad movie.

Either way, everything you did in here was stupid.

I enjoyed the film. Your inability to finish it has no bearing on my viewing experience of this film. And if you do want to change minds, maybe write more than SIX words. Have a thought in there somewhere. That's always a good idea.

...well congratulations? I award you the prestigious title of "irrelevant loudmouth". Wear it with pride, something tells me it's probably your highest accomplishment.

Why did you not like it, OP. You should at least explain why.

reply

It just felt wrong, it was very cheesy, I don't know how to explain.
