Big deal, I was a freshman in high school and I think the teacher described Juliet as 14 and Romeo as 15-16. That was basically our age and we could all relate to the feelings, so it is all good.
share50 years ago in America, 16-20 is not a young adult. In the time this was written, concept of teenagers did not exist.

Even this whole "young adult" thing does not exist outside of USA I think. Americans just made up that therm for some reason. For everyone else age 14-19 is teenager. 20 is adult.
