Three Washers
I wonder what scene was edited out or planned but never shot in which Mason uses the three washers to kill someone, or do something super-spyish.
I thought that was added more as a funny line juxtaposed to how dangerous the mission was and how loaded up the SEALs were. Like, "We're sending you up against the world's most elite fighters. Here's a string and two toothpicks."

Never thought of that, but that could be.
I was thinking it would have something to do with getting out of the jail cell, but was deemed too implausible(and was changed to the wheel of a gurney? How'd he get that?!) or just never panned out.
