Money question. Spoiler
This is probably a dumb question, but they transfered the money to Shaker's account, can they get it back? 4 million is a lot of money.

sharewell i am not sure. but didnt he write a cheque?
i cant remember. but even if they transferred it into his account, everyone found out that he kidnapped the boy and killed some other people. so i guess they'll return it to tom's account!
They did it electronically. Tom did write a cheque when in his penthouse but Jimmy caught onto him.
They went to the bank and did via electronic keypad. Whether or not Tom would get the money back, I don't know.

well i guess he will...jimmy is dead and even if he were alive he'll have to return the money since he was the one who kidnapped the kid...
But there would have to be a law governing that. The bank can't just say, 'Oh he was the kidnapper. We'll reverse the transaction.' Once the money enters Jimmy's bank account, it is legally his.
If a law says that ransom money will be returned to its owner upon kidnapper's capture or death, then fair enough, Tom would get it back. But I don't know if that law exists...

Yes, they can easily reverse this wire transaction. The FBI can walk into almost any bank in the world and freeze money and reverse fraudulent wire, ACH or other transactions. Obviously they have to get cooperation from local authorities (let's say the Cayman Islands or the Bahamas) but that is not hard to do. These countries need reciprocal banking cooperation when they have a problem with transfers into the U.S. By the way, I work in a boring cubical for the FBI financial crime division.

Business transactions made under duress are generally not valid.
