So, When should we celebrate Jimmy Shaker day?

When I went and saw this movie back at the theater with my older Brother and his friends when I was 12 and they were all 20, We all thought that the concept or the phrase "Jimmy Shaker Day" Sounded pretty funny and actually quite cool. We decided that we would all celebrate Jimmy Shaker day, and some day try to open a resturaunt called Jimmy Shakers. So when should everyone celebrate Jimmy Shaker Day? We usually celebrate in of Sept 17th, We figured it kinda sounded like a St. Patricks day holiday. So we celebrate it 6 months apart from St. Patricks, figuring its nice to have 2 of them in one year. We celebrate it by having a couple of beers and we all a kinda feast with Steaks, Ribs, Buffalo Wings, Shredded Pork, Brisket, Potatos or Fries, Cole Slaw rather than Corn Beef and Cabbage. So I am wondering, does anyone else celebrate Jimmy Shaker Day?

I had to ask myself...is Today....Jimmy Shaker Day.

I am glad this thread reminded me, but I'm making Jimmy Shaker Day the 4th Friday of every month.

you cant have Jimmy Shaker be in every month. That takes away the significance of it. My group has been trying to contact Gary Sinise for months to invite him to our annual Jimmy Shaker Day.

You guys still "celebrating"? You do know, St. Pat's Day is actually Gary Sinise's Birthday :) I would rather celebrate that. lol

Ah I almost forgot aboout this thread until I started looking through my past posts.

I'm still definetley gonna celebrate Jimmy Shaker Day, my mates don't care a whole lot for the movie but I'm sure they'd have fun watching the film with some beers and a bbq and I normally have them in stitches with the way I quote movies so I'll be spouting some of Shakers great lines from this movie to make the day more enjoyable.

I've gotta find some fans of this movie here in Australia.
