Blew my mind, I have never ever ever ever seen acting like that. Every moment he was on screen I was enthralled. His acting makes me hyper its so good. This was a work of art.
Oooh Policeman Brown, never quite made Officer, why was that Policeman Brown?
Oh my god i know..i first saw this movie on cable one night when i was about 16 and loved it, i'm 23 now and edward norton is still my favorite actor. I own all his movies, the guys a genius.
Don't worry you might actually do some good before you die!! -Sylar
I ADORE keeping the faith! He makes me feel things I shouldnt feel about priests! And Death to Smoochy may have been a low point, but still very enjoyable. It was a very Danny DeVito film, pretty wacky!

Ha, I just went to see EN at the Seattle Film Festival a couple weeks ago and I was telling my friends I loved everything he's I've seen him in except Keeping The Faith. I haven't seen Death To Smoochy. Maybe he needs to stay away from comedies.
Well maybe.Sometimes some roles offer more room for someone to show talent. Also, sometimes you judge a role by the character itself and you confuse acting and writing.I think Ed's role in primal fear gives him more space than other roles he has played.
yes.If i had to pick a second best performance,i would say american history x.The scene where he kills that black man and then gets arrested...that twisted look on his face always creeps me out...
For me (in American History X) it's the contrast between Derek spewing the "motivational" hate speech, his transformation in/after prison and then the flashback scene when his father was still alive. Three very distinct and different personalities from different stages of his evolution. If not a better performance, one could at least say he took the Aaron/Ray character in "Primal Fear" and exponentialized it, complicated it and delivered it effectively in "American History X".
And yes, any time Edward Norton goes "dark" on us, it's downright freaky. He's the only one I would trust in a remake of "The Shining"
I don't need you to tell me how good my coffee is. .
Nah...and I like Norton, but his role here was on par with the confused male antagonists you find on Lifetime Movie network (the channel where men are always unstable and hate women ).
I agree, partially. He is a very talented actor but there are other talented actors out there and I wouldn't describe any of them (of any level talent) as "ants."
