the reporter/article

hello,

so at the beginning of the film, and throughout really, marty is giving an interview to a reporter. at the beginning, before he goes to the fundraiser, he talks about truth, the "illusion of truth" that he "makes those 12 members of the jury believe". now if i was a citizen and read that article, and then was sitting on a jury where marty was the defense attorney, i think that would affect my opinion of his arguments. as a lawyer, wouldnt marty want to keep his way of winning out of the public eye that way? why would he say that to a reporter and want it printed?

don't forget "if you print any of this I'll sue your ass"

that was because of the "bad bad thing" he did when working for "Shawn-Assy"

ironically HAD he not done it the bishop may have been still alive - in jail but still alive.

so movie makes out he took the case [free to client] purely for his ego but in fact he had other motives, and that clouded his judgment of Aaron as a killer.

in the end he would have come out OK with press as they never figured the truth of what happened in court - like if Vail himself never figured [even when TOLD] how would anyone else do so [incl Judge & Jury].

and folks it was NOT a twist - it was part of the story

halfway through i was wondering if the magazine with here's character on the cover wasn't supposed to be that guy's article. it wasn't, right? how many cover stories does this attorney get dedicated to him per month?

We learned more from a three minute record than we ever learned in school
