Ending?

If Roy was truly in control all along, then why did he run away from the crime scene?

At the end when Vail tells him he's smart for pulling it off he says something like ahh but I got caught, and during his first burst he says he told Aaron to control himself but he freaked out and ran. So if there was no Aaron why did Roy run from the crime scene, essentially getting himself caught?

I understand your point. I think Aaron/Roy didnt come up with the multiple personality disorder act UNTIL he was about to get caught. He was a very clever kid BUT he was also a vicious sociopath. He had a lot of rage to kill the Archbishop/Linda and i despite being clever the rage took over before he formulated a plan. Maybe his original plan was to find a way to frame Alex but the mailman hearing the murder kind of foiled that plan. Thats just a guess from me
