Attorneys

Absolutely the worst courtroom/attorney movie ever. By the 50 minute mark, I counted 347 procedural and other errors, and I'm pretty sure I missed some. And I am not a lawyer. In a trial, they just can't bring up new evidence, call witnesses not on the list, talk to their client while covering the microphone, talk to opposing council about tactics, and on and on. Even until the very end <SPOILER ALERT> when Roy reveals his hoax, NOTHING IN THE COURT PROCEEDINGS HAD YET HAPPENED. The judge had not yet completed the case, so Gere could simply tell that to the judge, and she could then throw Roy in prison for life. What a waste of talent. So Ed Norton is a good actor, and Laura Linney is hot, so what?

I couldn't watch this movie for the same reasons. I'm not a lawyer, but I dated one and we watched this and he was laughing at all the inaccuracies. He said it was ridiculous. And I thought about that at the end- the judge hadn't officially thrown out the case. But I think he was bound by lawyer/client privilege, a lawyer can't just go to the judge and say whoops, I was wrong, my client is guilty. Not sure though. Maybe I should call my ex.... good times :)

You need to watch & listen

Blonde was fired but her last job was to take instructions from DA that no re-trial.

SO the beak made a Bench Order in Chambers for hospitalization etc based on her own observations so that was the end

Blonde said him out in a month and beak said not my problem.
