Chicago is full of nasty people
It seems like everyone is this movie is vulgar and rude. Is this how people are in Chicago or were they trying to make Aaron look more sympathetic by comparison?

You're spot on. I always watch a movie set in a city to find out what the people are like before I visit.
When I finally visited Chicago everyone was either really lawyery or sociopathic. Disturbing. Don't visit.

shareJust like any other city, there are good people and there are bad people. Yes, the politicians are corrupt (then again, what politician isn't?), but a lot of us Chicagoans are actually kinda nice. Just stay away from the South and West sides, those are very dangerous areas.
