I am confused about something, anybody here understand?

Why was everyone so upset that he got away with killing the priest by faking insanity? They should be HAPPY about it. The person he killed DESERVED it, he was that terrible of a person. Edward Norton was the hero in this and they should have been CONGRATULATING him.

Yes the priest was disgusting i agree. HOWEVER murder is murder and Aaron was a sociopath which makes him dangerous in society. Remember he also murdered linda who was also a victim of the priest
