Tagline on two faced people doesn't really apply to Aaron - query
The Tagline for this film is
"No man, for any considerable period, can wear one face to himself and another for the multitude, without finally getting bewildered as to which may be true."
-The Scarlet Letter, pg. 188
This is applicable to the Bishop .. but not to Aaron. Is this supposed to be an ironic tagline then? As Aaron wears two faces, but is never confused as to which he truly is.
Martin never striked me as someone who wears multiple faces, so I'm just wondering what the significance of this quote is, given it seems more relevant to Aaron, but in a sense, is not really relevant to him at all.
