The chick who had the main part in this movie was soooooo annoying. I am not saying anyone deserves this kind of treatment because they don't, but the actress who played this part was so incredibly whiny annoying and irritating I found it hard to feel bad for her.

i was like um ok chill nik, lol "tryin a lil too hard in the one scene i've mentioned,too much whining lol...
However:
from beginning/to end? i love her in it,so realistic/her and staci,really seem like the"real characters"like bff's.
I love her at the end,she did at the time show REAL TEARS,and imo?that was a sad scene,and she was really great in it
imo.

Then, the way she kept ignoring & justifying Bobby's behavior made you sick!
No one deserves abuse, but she kept letting him do it.

If I were any of Stacy's friends or any of the other witnesses and knew that Bobby hits her, I would have wanted to report it to the police but Stacy wouldn't have admitted that he's hurting her even if I had. So, here's what I would have done before reporting it to the police if I were Stacy's friends or any of the other witnesses; I would have gotten in touch with the girl who was with Bobby before Stacy and asked her to talk to Stacy and force her to face it. It might not have been easy and it might not have been fun but it might have prevented her from getting killed. For example, there's a Law and Order SVU episode where there was a girl in the same situation as Stacy and apparently, that's what the police had to do. They asked Detective Stabler's daughter, Kathleen who also used to be in that situation to talk to that girl and tell her that she was in an abusive relationship and that she had to face it and let the police help her in any way they could. It was the only way for them to make her admit that her boyfriend hits her and it might have been the only way for Stacy's friends and/or the other witnesses to make Stacy admit the same thing.
