Why was the young woman / Allison Pond killed? What was the motive?

I was wondering that too....was it maybe because she found out some information about the military base she ...shouldn't know, or was maybe because they were scared she might blackmail John malkovich's character? I am not 100% sure...

She found out about the secret hospital. Then filmed it with her gay friends camera.
They couldnt risk her telling the "world" about the experiments so they killed her and him (Andrew McCarthy).
Thats what I always thought anyway....maybe Im wrong.

She saw the secret hospital with the cancer experiments and as Hoover said "took pictures" The Colonel saw her as a threat to national security and pushed her (or had her pushed) out of a plane. It's implied that the Colonel alone made this decision and that the General (Malkovich) wasn't really involved.

Those sick soldiers were not cancer experiments. They were the soldiers that walked into the dust cloud after the explosion. Many of them died.
