It really is nice to hear that someone liked it!

I would hate to think that Tim Burton's made a movie so bad that nobody on Earth liked it, although I doubt he could have come closer to that if he'd tried.

I don't think there is any movie on earth that EVERYBODY hates. Of course some movies have really awful reputations, but as far as I know they still have a small base of people who enjoyed them.

Take Tim Burton for instance: he is an absolute fan of Ed Wood (or at the very least I know he appreciate him enough to the point that he made a movie about him), who is known as one of the worst filmmakers of all time.

Bottom line, you can find people who love pretty much any movies ever made.

Maybe dumb, but GREAT!

It was an absolute blast to watch the first time.

There are “dumb” movies that are bad, and dumb movies that are so-so, and dumb movies that are great. This one is great. It accomplished exactly what all involved wanted. :-)

I found the movie quite tedious & unlpeasantly odd. I didn't like it when I was a kid and still don't as an adult.

That's debatable, but I'll agree that it's a very dumb movie. I think whoever wrote it was on drugs when they came up with the script.

Most things are debatable.

I disagree

That this movie was dumb, or that most things are debatable?

The second one. And I have numerous arguments to back that up.

I really should revisit the Python show. It's been years since I watched any (besides the movies which I rewatch from time to time because they're so great).

It was the most consistently funny TV show ever. A comedy classic!
