shareMaybe you didn't understand that everything that happened in the movie has perfect sense, I see most people who think this movie is trash is because they take the events in the movie literally and is way more complex than that, give it a try and very probably you would love it, this movie is easy one of my favorites of all time, is very different to everything I ahve seen before and demands your attention forcing the audience out of their comfortable position of passive spectator and force you to speculate about the meaning of what you are seeing, this and Mulholland Drive are Lynch biggest masterpiece, and I'm not a fan of him, but those movies are just at another level

I would suggest in that you appreciate these two masterpieces of cinema that you are definitely a fan of Lynch. Justifiably so.
You don't have to like every film he's made to be a fan after all.
