Yeah.
But basically I interpret much of what happens in this movie as being in the head of Bill Pullman's Fred character as he awaits his execution via a death sentence for the apparent murder of his wife.
Its a superb film too, one of David Lynch's top 3 and one of my all time favourite 50 or so movies ever.
shareMullholand Drive is easier to relate too, a small time girl in big holly weird. This one is harder to get a feel for BUT similar type of movie in a lot of ways and different in other ways.
Still trying to make sense of this one and mullholand drive also.. The one scene where the Pete character opened up room 26 and that song rammstein played, kinda wish that scene was longer , it was real weird and perverted and in the other room had a black in white movie of the blonde (Patricia Arquette character) getting it from behind.
Not to spoil things for "whomever" but that scene started out really cool as well. Something else happens because they hatched a plan and that part was comical how it went down.
Mulholland Drive is easier to relate to, but Lost Highway could be relatable for people involved in obsessive relationships plagued by jealousies that create constant paranoia.
The difference between the two? I think LH resides strictly in the mind of the protagonist. Whereas the same might be true in MD (i.e., dream state), but could resonate better with a bardo reading.
