Twin Peaks Season 3
This movie feels the most like the 3rd season of Twin Peaks out of all of Lynch’s films. The law enforcement characters and all the criminal/auto shop characters seem like they are out of Season 3 in terms of style and tone and especially the delivery of dry humor. Maybe it’s intentional since Lost Highway is supposed to be in the same universe as Twin Peaks.
