The first tape was scarier than most horror movies


I'm surprised that something so simple made such an impact on me.They kind of showed 'too much'. I loved not knowing who filmed it, why they filmed it and left it at their stairs, or what they wanted.
Imagine if that happened to you. I'd sh*t my pants.

I've often heard the remark that Lynch could be a master of horror films if he chose.

Others think he's already making them.

Concur. To call it an effective moment would simply be an understatement.

On that note, many scenes in Lynch's work are by far some of the most terrifying ever made - regardless of genre.

Agreed. His movies and Twin Peaks are often terrifying. In fact, I more or less consider Twin Peaks a part of the horror genre.
