Geena gave Jennifer Lawernece a run for female action star too!!

Why only 6.8? I was about to watch this again and saw Geena on GLOW first and wanted to see what she was up to now. Came on here to see what was being said about one of my favorite movies. She was great! Jackson was great! The movie was so fun!!! Man, I can hear Jacksons bluesy sing "Put the keys in my right pocket... gun on the left hand side". Come on even Genna could have been added in the latest little controversie from Jennifer Lawrence about her being first female action star. Geena kicked a$$. Man, in the wheel house, into rescuing SJ and so much more. Love it!!!!!!!

Edited to add the next day... Just finished watching and Yep, still holds up and love it!! I checked IMBD Trivia to find this... "This film and Cutthroat Island (1995) were attempts by director Renny Harlin and his then-wife, Geena Davis, to not only further her career, but to generate more public interest in female action stars." How apropos huh.

Great movie by Renny Harlin. Great writer Shane Black. And all of the above.

yes i like this film. renny harlin is very import. he always give his action film snow setting which give it atmosphere.

i do not like SLJ because i think he overract and shout too much in film but film overall is good entertain.

yes the difference between jizz face j-law and gina davies is that gina is actually an actor with talent while jizz face is flavor of the months who should be working in burger kings!

when an actress have talent and the right look, and she work with good director, then you can put her in drama role or action role and it doesnt matter, she be equally convince in both! when jizz face j-law is put in drama or action role, she terrible in both, because she have no talent and should be waxing floors of film set not working on them.
