Man I just think she sucks playing these "hardass" roles. Sam Jackson is GREAT but she stinks it all up. Is there any movie where she plays a more loveable character?

Davis not only play one awesome badass in this film, but she also pulls off the transformation with total class, starting off as a lovable character and finishing as a lovable character.

Personally, I think Geena Davis pulls off the MILF turned bad ass better than Angelina Jolie ever did.

It helps that nearly all her "heroics" are gun play and using her head. It typically goes to crap when they have the 120 pound leading lady kicking the crap out of a bunch of 220 pound men. They largely avoid that in this movie.

Best line easily-

After they fall from the building and Geena shoots out the ice, they emerge from the water and she has lost her memory again.

Geena- What just happened?
Mitch- I just saved your ass. It was beautiful!

Hell yes Geena Davis is badass in this movie. Unlike Angelina Jolie, Davis actually has meat on her bones and doesn't look like a walking skeleton. Total milf.

Yes, she is rather unconvincing as a badass assassin chick but the movie is still great.

She's great.

She's one of the more believable badass heroines going given she's a big girl, she's 6ft and not a waif. A hell of lot more believable than most female action leads.

no i think she is convincing as heroine. good actress better than jizz face jlaw and captain pancakes.
