This movie COULD have been good

Let's get something straight first. The first movie...is the first movie. It's not great in the least, but it's an enjoyable little tale about the dangers of playing God.

HOWEVER, it DOES set up for a sequel. A sequel involving an all powerful cyberspace-based overlord. But, instead, this movie decides to erase that ending and expects us to accept the fact that Jobe somehow pyshically survived.

LAME.

However, they were...sorta going in the right direction with some of the plot here. You have a group of underground freedom fighters, trying to to take down Jobe...but Jobe is laughable, he's a dude in a wheelchair and it's nothing against Frewer, he can be scary when he wants to...but the dialog is terrible.

Why do we have to go over the same story from the first movie in THIS one? This movie should have been set in cyberspace for the most part, trying to take down Jobe. THAT would have been awesome.

I completely agree. I remember what I thought when I heard the subtitle for the theatrical release (Jobe's War) for the first time. I thought the movie would show an actual war going on in cyberspace, with good cybersoldiers fighting an army of evil CG creatures led by Jobe, a powerful entity existing only in cyberspace but capable of influencing remote computer systems.
Instead... it was a sh17load of phuk!

I agree, that could have been an amazing movie if done right.
