didn't work for me, I didn't like it....


Though I can see why some might appreciate this movie (gunfights, Bruce Willis, filme noir - voice over,...), I couldn't.

Hearing Bruce Willis saying them, with a close up of his butchy face (with a hat on), it looked more like a parody to me...

It's suppose to be a throw back to "THE DIME NOVEL" At least that is the way Walter Hill wanted it. I think that is why a lot of it is kinda over the top.

I think Bruce Willis is a great actor, and his movie 'twelve Monkeys' is one of my favorite films.
But this one just doesn't do it. The story is one anybody could write in first grade, and everything is just way too much over the top.

it's true that the voice over takes a bit from the film... but this film is the bastard child of several different genres... i think it works though... how brutally violent it is... the insane wire work when people get blown away harkens to what we would see in the coming years... after the matrix comes out... this film is awesome and i just love it
