$hit...Willis embarrassing 'tough' voice...

...it's almost as bad as Bale's ridiculous "evil" voice of those batman movies...

No wonder this movie bombed... damn, don't they check dailies no more?

"I'm a Hero Hunter, I hunt Heroes. Haven't found any yet."

It was clearly a nod to Eastwood's voice in "Fistfull of Dollars".
The problem is that Willis has to pitch his voice like that and with Eastwood it's his natural tone.

What made it worse was they had talked of Walken's character having a strange voice so when Willis and Walken had dialogue between them it sounded like a "husky whispering" contest!

Come on lads, bags of swank!

I almost had to turn my TV all the way up to hear Willis and Walken at some parts but it was still badass. A little forced but not everyone is born with it

thats how your voice becomes if you have whiskey for breakfast for 10 years

The narration was terribly done and unnecessary in general. It reminded me of the Blade Runner's narration, but at least that was intentionally funny and bad.

reply

It does not suit Willis who made is name as a wisecracker!

Its that man again!!

I think you've found the main flaw of the movie and it's pace. It's the narration.
It didn't really contribute to the story.

Cut it out and it would probably have been a better movie.

I liked it. Guess I'm the only one. lol

reply

The film could had done without the voice-over.

Its that man again!!
