No, it's a remake of Akira Kurosawa's 1961 film Yojimbo.

Rubbish.. is completely similar to Django from 1966... Same story.. A guy come in to a town and gets caught between two gangs at war. Except, Willis ain´t draggin´a coffin..

This is the 4th (and worst) adaptation of Dashiell Hammett's "Red Harvest":

Yojimbo = 1961

A Fistful of Dollars = 1964

Miller's Crossing = 1990 (this is actually closest to it in terms of its era (Prohibition) and ethnic conflict (Irish vs. Italians).
