Arnold should've killed his son at the end
After everything he went through to get that toy.
shareYou are insane for even suggesting that.
shareThe son was being kind to a stranger. I'd be very proud if that were my son.
Kid still wins though. Arnold still had the gift certificate from the radio station in his pocket.
no one can kill a jedi.
shareWow.... sociopathic much?
shareI remember my brother calling Jamie an "ungrateful little shit" a lot while we were watching. The mom wasn't much better. The only reason those two got to live in such a nice house, in a nice neighborhood, with such nice trappings, was because Howard had a demanding, high-paying job (he looked like the type who earned 180K a year, possibly, maybe more), and they really did not understand what he had to go through to keep them in such comfort. Living in a city didn't help things when it came to traffic. While the film indicates that he was a workaholic who spent more time at work than at home, they really weren't being fair to him at all in this film.
That, and honestly, Jamie was a spoiled brat. I mean, he lives in a nice house, has a big bedroom all to himself, has Captain America in a mural on his wall, has tons of toys, books, and electronics at his disposal, has no siblings to compete with, and yet you have this threat of him getting pissed at his dad over one toy.
I agree with everything!
but it have nice end - he kid and father now have each other!
