Is End of Days The Sequel to Jingle All The Way?

In some ways End of Days can be thought of as a spiritual sequel to Jingle All The Way. Arnold's family could have been killed and he winds up being a depressed NYC Detective and has to defeat Satan to prevent the apocalypse. With his self sacrifice he's reunited once more with his family in the afterlife and saves the world. Pretty awesome theory huh?
