time period??????????????

I was wondering what the intended time period was in this movie.

Cause to me, this give me an 80s feeling although this was filmed in the 90s

The Turboman show Jamie was watching looks like something an early 80s or late 70s kid would watch.
Also, the Holiday parade had a bunch of old fashion characters, nothing from the 90s

I saw a cabbage patch dolls, Madeline, Bert and Ernie, cat in the hat. There weren't that many 90s "up to date characters"

To me it feels like a late 80s time period

It's the 90s. The technology is 90s. If you look at his office, his phone, the computer & so on you can clearly tell it is the 90s.

As for the parade many parades have classic characters in it. Our local town parade features Bert & Ernie, Winne The Pooh & Garfield.

Wow you're way off!!!!! Bert and Ernie and the Cat In The Hat were popular in the 1990s. The clothes and cars were all 1990s.

Yeah but The cat in the hat book was published in the 1960s same with the Sesame Street characters.

When I think of 1996 characters what comes to me mind is The Simpsons, Nickelodeon, The Lion King, Little Mermaid, Aladdin, etc. they could've mixed it up.
