Question about Liz and the bathroom sink

At the beginning of the movie, Liz asks Howard 'you got the doll right?!' and then bangs her head on the bathroom sink and the camera zooms into Howard's shocked face. It is never mentioned again why Liz headbutts her sink? Does anyone know the director's comments or any sort of explanation for this?

Ha ha..yeah,i dont think she banged her head on purpose, she ducked for the camera to zoom in on Arnie for comedic affect.

She's leaning down into the sink, as if to wash her face.

That part always makes me laugh, I always thought that seeing the dreaded look on her face just before she ducks was that she was scared of getting hit by the camera lol
