CGI, but why?

I was watching this movie on Freeform (formerly ABC Family) and noticed right after Howard reveals himself as Turboman and the officer comes up to thank him, there is some sort of vender who has been added via computer in the middle of the background crowd of actors. Does anyone have a clue why? I've been looking up information, but haven't been able to find anything. Seems like a pretty intentional thing to add considering expense, but not something needed unless you were trying to cover something up.

My guess is it's some kind of logo or product placement they covered up. Maybe that company didn't come through with the cash so they got removed from the film. Just speculating of course.

COuld you get a screenshot of this?

After reading your post I watched JINGLE ALL THE WAY and noticed straight away what you were talking about. Never noticed it before though. Sticks out like a sore thumb when you know where to look.
Doubt it's to do with covering up promotional stuff. Very bizarre as to why they inserted it though. I wanna say it's because an extra refused permission to use their image on screen but that would be stupid as it was filmed on the Universal backlot so all the actors would be paid extras. So I'm stumped.
