Just bought this piece of *beep* bluray.
It barely looks better than the DVD version
Hellraiser 3 doesn't look that great, but at least there's detail and overal good black levels.
This is one is just downright terrible.
Congrats to those who made the actual bluray transfer, no effort what so ever.

The Australian blu ray wasn't that great either. It even had the black reel change markings every 15minutes in the right hand corner
shareGiven the great work they did with Anchor Bay on the "Halloween" franchise set (especially tracking down the "Curse of Michael Myers" Producer's Cut), I'd be ecstatic for Shout Factory to do a complete "Hellraiser" set so we'd get a worthwhile release of "Bloodline" on Blu-ray.
EDIT: I didn't know at the time the rights to the franchise seem to be divvied up between several companies and distributors.
Well the same case was for the Halloween series too. Anchor Bay, Universal, Dimension, Weinstein's, and Sony all own the rights to at least one movie and they made it work out.
They shouldn't have no problem with this series. They just gotta work with Image and Dimension/Miramax so it won't be too big of a hassle unless Image wants to be hard headed. This series deserves some more in depth releases especially 3 on-wards. 1 and 2 could use some new stuff but 3 on deserve their own making of doc's as well as commentaries and other goodies. They can do it like with Halloween: do a big set with all kinds of stuff and do a 10/11 disc set with the movies and special features for each film but make sure the bigger set has an extra 2/3 discs of extra features..

Which blu ray are you talking about? The US Echo Bridge release?
shareUpdate: well, now we have a new 4K of Hellraiser Bloodline from Arrow Video so just get that.
