the actor who plays Jacques
Why didn't the director of this movie at least slap the actor to give him some conviction? I remember when i first saw this movie I recognized the actor from somewhere, and looking through his acting history, i'm surprised to see that he actually has roles past this movie ... it was probably from watching Boys Meets World as a kid, where I recognized him.
the whole thing about the Adam Scott being so noticeably lousy (yet was not fired and replaced with a decent actor)
gave me a sort of stupid minded, if Christopher Maltisante-existed-in-the-real-world-vibe, in the sense that behind the scenes, someone probably threatened or broke somebody's legs to give Adam Scott the part of Jacques... yet if you remember the second seasons of the Sopranos, Christopher was a good actor! (and not to mention Imperioli is just a good actor to begin with)
