I hated him in every movie I'd ever seen him in except this one. It's also the only Sandler movie I liked enough to actually buy on DVD. He's good/tolerable in this movie and annoying in everything else.
Anybody else feel this way?

shareI agree, I think it is his best work. Happy Gilmore is also one of my favorite comedies.
shareAirheads is my favorite movie/performance of his, but that's not really an "Adam Sandler movie". As far as movies he stars in, The Wedding Singer is probably my favorite.

I like this Adam Sandler movie the best because it's the one film of his that doesn't contain any absurd comedy like in Billy Madison(which I like btw) where a teacher out of nowhere rubs glue on her face. In Happy the comedy timing is done right. The movie has some depth as well.
