Vito and Joey?
Ok, I feel like an idiot, but in the scene when the ex-husbands say, "You can't make us do anything," and Bette Midler responds, "No, but Vito can. And Joey can," who is she talking about? :-P

shareI'm pretty sure they are Uncle Carmine's "friends" who shove him in the trunk
shareThis has plagued me for years, and you’re the only one on the internet that I can find who has asked about it!
I always thought that each had to relate to one of the men. Uncle Carmichael is obviously Morty. Veto could possibly be Annie’s power of veto over Aaron now that she owns the majority share...??
Joey... and how this would relate to Elise and her ex??
It’s a fairly big line in the movie so it’s so it would have some significance . It’s so frustrating!
