klc, I'm 43, and I agree with the OP, so no need to make such comments because people aren't of the same opinion as you. Yes, there are other great songs from various films, but You Don't Own Me is sooooo catchy!

I don't if it is Grace's version that is currently on an advert. But it's dramatically done. very different from Dusty Springfield's restrained version.

Dusty Springfield did not sing this. Lesley Gore did, and for the time it was recorded in, it was groundbreaking

You can listen to Dusty Springfield's version of 'You Don't Own Me' on Youtube. I agree that Lesley Gore's original really broke barriers in the early 1960s.

I just rewatched the 2nd half of FWC on EPIX and gonna flat out admit...I LOVE the ending to this movie! The 3 women singing their hearts out, dancing in the street in victory...epic ending! lol. more movies should end like that! Indiana Jones & the Last Crusade did similar. Kick a$$!
